With CES 2022 having wrapped not too long ago, the future looks bright if you’re looking to nab a great TV deal. Many manufacturers — including LG and Samsung — announced new versions of some of their most popular models during the event, ranging from The Frame to LG’s new C2 lineup. And now that manufacturers like Samsung and LG have announced official pricing details, we’re probably going to start seeing prices fall on the last-gen models as their newer counterparts start to become available.

However, if you’re looking to pick up a solid deal before the new models arrive, fret not, as there are already some great discounts available. There are currently a number of discounted 4K TVs to choose from, spanning a wide variety of prices, size configurations, and feature sets. Whether you want a secondary TV for the bedroom or a high-end OLED that’s built for a cinema-like experience, we’ve picked out the best TV deals across four common categories.

The best 4K TV deals for most people

Sony X80J

Sony’s 55-inch X80J TV has Google TV software built-in, so you won’t need to purchase any additional streaming boxes, like an Apple TV or Chromecast. The LED panel also supports HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision HDR, and has four HDMI ports (one of which is HDMI ARC). It’s a relatively low-frills affair, but it seems like a good deal that’s currently available at Best Buy, where various configurations are on sale and you can buy the 55-inch model for around $649.99 instead of $799.99. The same discount is available at Amazon and BuyDig.

TCL 6-Series

The TCL 6-Series R635 model is a good option if you are looking to balance price and performance. The R635 model sports a QLED panel, but it goes a step above with Mini LED backlighting, which brings better brightness and contrast. The 55-inch model is currently on sale for $749.99 ($200 off) at Walmart, B&H Photo, and Best Buy, though, we’ve seen the R635 drop to as low as $650 in the past. If you prefer a larger model, Best Buy is also offering the 65-inch for $1,099.99 ($200 off) and the 75-inch for $1,299.99 ($500 off).

Samsung The Frame TV

Samsung’s The Frame blends into your home decor, displaying customizable images that look like a piece of decorative art if its motion sensor detects someone in the room. When turned on, however, it transforms into an HDR-compatible QLED TV with Amazon’s Alexa built-in and support for AirPlay 2. The stylish, 4K TV also boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, access to all the popular streaming services, and four HDMI ports.

While we’ve previously seen the 55-inch drop to an all-time low of $998 during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, right now you can only buy the model for around $1,398 ($100 off) at B&H Photo, Best Buy, BuyDig, and Samsung.

Samsung The Frame LCD TV (55-inch, 2021)

Samsung’s The Frame is a smart, 4K TV designed to directly blend in with your home’s decor. The QLED panel can seamlessly switch from displaying whatever content it is you’re watching to idle scenes of decorative art. The Frame also boasts HDR, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a motion sensor to ensure someone is there to see its ambient Art Mode.

Insignia’s 4K HDR Fire TV Edition

You don’t have to spend a fortune for a 4K TV; spending $500 or less can still net you a 4K TV with good image quality and features. Insignia’s F30 Series Fire TV is the perfect case in point, one that supports HDR10, HDMI ARC, and HDMI eArc, among other features.

At the moment, the 4K smart TV is on sale in all size configurations, including the 55-inch model, which you can buy for $349.99 ($100 off) at Best Buy or Amazon (via the Best Buy storefront). You can also get the 65-inch model for a little less from Best Buy or Amazon (via the Best Buy storefront), both of which are selling the larger model for $499.99 instead of $569.99.

Insignia F30 Series Fire TV (55-inch)

This 2021 model of Insignia’s Fire TV Edition 4K TV includes HDR10 for a more contrast-rich picture. It has three HDMI ports, too, with support for HDMI ARC and eARC, allowing you to send sound through an HDMI cable instead of audio cables.

Toshiba Smart Fire TV Edition

Another Fire TV Edition TV deal happening now is on Toshiba’s 55-inch C350 Series Fire TV, which normally retails for $469.99. As the name might imply, the 4K LED TV allows you to stream content from services such as Disney Plus and Netflix, and includes the option to watch live TV. The latest models also tout an Alexa-enabled remote, an easy-to-use interface, and support for both Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10. Right now, Best Buy and Amazon (by way of Best Buy) are selling the 55-inch model for $399.99, a $70 discount. Other configurations are also on sale, including the 65-inch model, which is selling for $549.99 instead of $599.99 (Amazon, Best Buy).

Toshiba C350 Series Fire TV (55-inch)

An affordable, 4K LED TV with built-in Fire TV tech. This model sticks out from the bunch of other Fire TV Edition models with support for Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10.

TCL Class 4-Series

TCL also has competitively priced televisions, and its 4-Series lineup is one of the more affordable options on the market. The S435 model features a built-in Roku interface, dual-band Wi-Fi, HDR10, and support for Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri. You can currently get the 55-inch model for $359.99 at Best Buy and Amazon, which is $20 less than the usual retail price.

Amazon Omni Fire TV

Amazon’s first TV, the Omni Fire 4K TV, launched in November and starts at $370. The self-branded effort features the ability to query Alexa even when the TV is off, as well as a low input lag and support for two-way video calling. We gave it a 7/10 in our review, while noting how the TV shows great promise thanks to its robust Alexa integration and support for Apple’s AirPlay 2, among other things. At the same time, however, TCL and other similarly priced television makers offer better picture quality.

Right now, Amazon and Best Buy are selling the 55-inch model for $369.99 instead of $559.99, an all-time low that beats the TV’s price during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The larger configurations — which offer support for Dolby Vision HDR — are also currently on sale for their best price to date, with the 65-inch going for $499.99 instead of $829.99 (Amazon, Best Buy).

Amazon Omni Fire TV (55-inch)

Amazon’s new Omni Fire 4K TV features built-in microphones for Alexa commands, low input lag, and support for two-way video calling. It also provides access to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney Plus, and most major streaming services.

Vizio M7-Series Premium Quantum

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly TV with good picture quality, Vizio’s midrange M7-Series Quantum TV is worthy of consideration. The 2021 model sports a 60Hz panel, along with support for Apple’s AirPlay 2, AMD FreeSync, and a variable refresh rate (VRR). It also touts Vizio’s SmartCast system and a built-in Chromecast, allowing you to cast content from your phone and access Netflix, Disney Plus, and all your favorite streaming services. Right now, Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy are selling the 55-inch model for around $478, which is an all-time low for the TV.

Vizio M7-Series Premium Quantum TV (55-inch)

Vizio’s newest M7-Series Quantum TV sports a 60Hz panel, along with native FreeSync support, a variable refresh rate (VRR), and a built-in Chromecast for accessing all of your favorite apps.

The best deals on OLED TVs

OLED televisions offer the best image quality you can get in a mainstream TV, and many were heavily discounted during Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the Super Bowl. If you missed out on those sales, however, you may still have another shot at landing a good deal, as many of the best models are still currently available at a discount.

LG A1 OLED

Right now, multiple retailers are discounting various sizes of the LG’s entry-level A1 OLED. The 55-inch is selling for around $1,097 ($200 off) at B&H Photo, Amazon, LG, and Best Buy, which remains the lowest price we’ve ever seen on the budget-friendly OLED TV. BuyDig and Newegg are offering the same discount as well — with a four-year extended warranty — but BuyDig is throwing in a $50 Visa gift card and Newegg a $25 Visa gift card. Regardless of which retailer you go with, however, each offers a $100 gift card to Fanatics, a retailer that sells officially licensed sportswear, sports equipment, and other merchandise.

In terms of features, the A1 offers support for both Alexa and Google Assistant, as well as an automatic low-latency mode. Unlike more expensive OLEDs, however, the 4K TV doesn’t come with a slate of advanced gaming features, like those found on LG’s C1 model. It offers a slower 60Hz display and lacks HDMI 2.1, for example, and doesn’t support a variable refresh rate.

LG A1 OLED (55-inch)

LG’s entry-level OLED TV, the A1, has an auto low-latency mode and offers support for both Alexa and Google Assistant. Unlike pricier OLEDs, however, it lacks a fast refresh rate.

Vizio OLED

Vizio’s 4K OLED offering is one of the more affordable options if you’re looking for a budget-friendly OLED TV. The manufacturer doesn’t have the same kind of experience in the OLED playing field as LG, sure, but its 55-inch model remains a worthwhile option to consider if you want a high-end viewing experience and HDMI 2.1 ports to display high frame rates from your PS5 or Xbox Series X.

Vizio’s 55-inch OLED can often be found on sale for around $1,000. Right now, however, it’s only available at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Vizio for around $1,198, which is $100 off the suggested retail price.

Vizio’s 2020 OLED is one of the cheapest ways to get the deep blacks and superb viewing angles for which OLED TVs are known.

4K TVs for the Sony PS5 and Microsoft Xbox Series X

Sony’s PS5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X can play 4K games with HDR at up to 120 frames per second. So, naturally, if you don’t have a TV that takes full advantage of your console, it might be time to upgrade to one of the models below. Note that, for the best experience, you’ll want a TV that supports HDMI 2.1.

LG C1 OLED

If you’re looking for an impressive TV, we recommend turning your attention to LG’s C1 line. Like its predecessor, the CX, the 4K C1 touts support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD Freesync technologies, along with a 120Hz refresh rate and low input lag. The main difference between the two is that the C1 is available in an 83-inch variant and features a better processor. It also utilizes a newer interface that makes good use of a settings pane dubbed “Game Optimizer,” which conveniently brings together a host of game-centric settings — refresh rate, latency, etc. — for quicker access.

Throughout the holidays, we saw the 55-inch C1 selling for around $1,196.99 instead of $1,499.99, its lowest price to date. That deal is once again available at a variety of retailers, including Amazon, B&H Photo, Target, Best Buy, and LG. If you want the best bundle deal, however, you’ll want to look to BuyDig’s digital storefront on eBay, where you can pick it up for $1,299 with a $120 eBay credit that will be issued after delivery. Newegg, meanwhile, is offering the same discount, but adding a $75 Visa gift card and a four-year protection plan. No matter which retailer you purchase the TV from, you’ll also receive a $100 Fanatics gift card.

If you prefer a larger TV, discounts are available on other configurations as well. Right now, for instance, you can pick up the 65-inch model at Amazon for $1,746.99 ($753 off), which is $100 more than its best price to date but an all-time low at Amazon,

LG C1 OLED (55-inch)

LG’s C1 OLED starts with a 48-inch model, going up to 83 inches. All sizes of this OLED feature a 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync and G-Sync support, and a fast processor.

Samsung Neo QLED QN90A

For a viable OLED alternative, there’s the Neo QLED QN90A. Unlike the LG models above, Samsung’s most recent flagship uses Mini LED backlighting, a technology that allows for better contrast, less “blooming” around white objects on a dark background, and brightness levels that outperform even the best OLED TVs. Like the C1, the QN90A is also built with gamers in mind. The 2021 model features an HDMI 2.1 port and a “Game Bar” that gives you the ability to quickly adjust your screen’s aspect ratio, monitor input lag, and check to ensure settings such as HDR and VRR are active, all of which make for a better gaming experience overall.

During Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the 55-inch QN90A sold for just shy of $1,300, which was previously its best price today. Right now, however, it’s on sale for around $1,248 at Amazon, BuyDig, Best Buy, and Samsung. The larger, 75-inch model is also available at Woot for $2,469.99 instead of $3,499.99, which is the best price we’ve seen on the 75-inch configuration outside of Black Friday.

Samsung Neo QLED QN90A (55-inch)

Samsung’s Neo QLEDs were the company’s flagships for 2021, which come outfitted with Mini LED backlighting for improved contrast and brightness that better competes with OLED. They also tout HDMI 2.1 and a new Game Bar with shortcuts for features like VRR and aspect ratio.
