Dallas-based Remington Hotels, a wholly owned portfolio company of hotelier Monty Bennett’s holding company Ashford Inc., expanded its management portfolio significantly with the $26 million purchase on April 18 of Chesapeake Hospitality. Here’s how the acquisition fits into the parent company Ashford Inc.’s growth strategy.
