The new Danish Neuroscience Center is being planned in Aarhus, Denmark, and will connect with the existing campus of the Aarhus University Hospital.

The six-story facility will provide Aarhus University Hospital with study and treatment facilities for physical and mental brain diseases.

It will include a reception area, large central atrium, and an interactive public exhibition and presentation area displaying the hospital’s latest research. Clinics, café, and publicly accessible terraces are also planned.

The 215,000-square-foot center is slated to receive a Danish green building standard.

The project team will include architecture firm Bjarke Ingels Group (Copenhagen, Denmark).
