Cleveland Clinic Outlines $1.3 Billion Investment In Campus Upgrades

Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland) has unveiled plans to invest $1.3 billion in capital projects, including the construction of new buildings and the renovation of facilities in Ohio, Florida, and London.

On its main campus in Cleveland, the academic medical center will build a 1 million-square-foot Neurological Institute and expand the Cole Eye Institute and research facilities.

The Neurological Institute building will consolidate services across the campus into one location and include inpatient and outpatient services, such as imaging, surgical, and research. To make way for the project, a surgery center, attached parking garage, and former theater will be demolished.

The Cole Eye Institute building, adjacent to the campus, will add 150,000 square feet of space, renovate existing space, and add operating and procedure rooms. The Cole Eye Institute expansion is scheduled for completion at the end of 2025.
