The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Plans Rehabilitation Hospital


The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (Columbus, Ohio) and Kindred Rehabilitation Services (Louisville, Ky.) are planning to replace the 60-bed Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital with a new 80-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Columbus, according to the website dispatch.com.

Situated adjacent to the medical center’s Outpatient Care East building, the 86,000 square-foot, three-story hospital will include treatment and research for patients with stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries.

It’s scheduled to open in 2025.
