Residents of Greater Philadelphia’s 10 richest neighborhoods saw their incomes jump 7.4% in 2020 despite the widespread economic turmoil caused by the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.
This week’s List of the wealthiest ZIP codes in the region, based on data from the U.S. Census Bureau, shows the top 10 had an average median household income of $190,967 in the first year of the pandemic, up from $177,767 the year prior and an increase of more than 26% over the four-year span from 2016 to 2020.
