BayCare Health System Tops Out $326M South Florida Baptist Hospital


Nonprofit healthcare system BayCare Health System (Tampa, Fla.) celebrated a topping out ceremony for the South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, Fla.

The 420,000-square-foot, six-story project will comprise two towers with 146 private patient rooms. The campus will also include a medical office building with rehabilitation, imaging, and wound care services.

The $326 million hospital is scheduled to open in early 2024.

The project team includes Barton Malow (construction; Orlando).
