American Idol season 21 is witnessing some of the strongest vocal talents in years. In the final round of auditions on March 26, Kaeyra will audition for the judges. Kaeyra’s performance has the judges thrilled about her future.

1. Kaeyra gets a standing ovation from Luke Bryan.

Kaeyra performs a stunning rendition of Chris Stapleton’s “Cold” on the piano for her American Idol audition. Luke Bryan is on his feet after she’s finished. “You don’t sound like anybody else,” Luke says after praising her performance. Katy Perry and Lionel Richie are also excited about Kaeyra’s potential. She gets a “yes” from all 3 judges.

2. Kaeyra is a restaurant singer.

Kaeyra explains to the judges that she currently works at a restaurant. She sings 4 hours a night for 4 nights a week and performs covers.

3. Kaeyra is the daughter of immigrants.

Kaeyra’s parents are from Poland. “It’s the reason why I’m so hardworking: seeing how hard they are working, coming from Poland and making their own businesses, and just making it work, learning the language along the way. Just seeing their work ethic and making connections,” she told ABC7 Chicago.

4. Kaeyra grew up in Illinois.

Kaeyra hails from Algonquin, Illinois. Growing up, she would perform at Polish festivals in Chicago. She’s also performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago. She sang for the President of Poland at his request after making a trip to Warsaw, according to her Spotify bio.

5. Kaeyra has released original music.

Kaeyra released her first album, Fountains of Gold, in 2017. She released an EP, 11:11, in 2021, as well as other singles. In addition to her vocal talent, she can also play the piano, bass, guitar, drums, and flute. She has already amassed quite a social media following with over 15,000 followers on Instagram.
