Marvel and Disney+ have been keeping as many details about “Echo” under wraps as possible, which makes even fan speculation difficult. Is she a best friend? An enemy? There’s no way to tell. Chances are she’s someone who works alongside Maya following the events of “Hawkeye,” or she’s an assassin sent by Maya’s uncle, Kingpin, to take her out. With production underway, more information will hopefully become available soon, but until then, we must all exercise the patience we do not have.
“Echo” makes for a fascinating companion piece to the existing series of “Hawkeye” and “Daredevil,” and with Disney+ gaining control of the latter, we’ll hopefully see a crossover between Maya Lopez and Matt Murdock. The two certainly can learn a lot from one another.
“Echo” doesn’t have an official release date yet, but it’ll likely premiere sometime in 2023. We promise to keep you updated with more “Echo” news as it becomes available.
