Catholic Health Good Samaritan Hospital Breaks Ground On $500M Patient Pavilion

Catholic Health Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, N.Y., broke ground on a $500 million patient care pavilion.

The 300,000-square-foot addition will be situated on the northeast portion of the campus and include a 75-bay emergency department (ED), 16 replacement operating rooms, and three floors of private inpatient rooms.

Additionally, the project will include expanding the café, renovating the gift shop, and creating an internal access to the ED.

The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2025.
