Dayton Children’s Hospital To Add Mental Health Facility

Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio plans to build a new freestanding mental health building for children and teens, according to an article in wyso.org.

The project will double the hospital’s inpatient beds from 24 to 48.

The facility is expected to open in spring 2025.

Funding for construction of the building will be supported by the state of Ohio’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Initiative, an $84 million investment allocated for children’s hospitals across the state.
