Chadwick Boseman’s Brothers Are Now Fighting His Widow Over Estate Management!

Chadwick Boseman‘s brothers are going after his wife nearly six years after his death due to, what they claim, alleged mismanagement of his estate!

According to TMZ, Kevin and Derrick Boseman submitted documents to a Los Angeles court on Friday to accuse Taylor Simone Ledward Boseman of allegedly mismanaging the estate and demand that she no longer control it. They claimed the widower has kept the entire family out of the loop about the estate, even though a court order in 2022 determined their parents, Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, are entitled to a 50 percent share. Meanwhile, Taylor has control of the nother half since Chadwick died without a will.

However, Kevin and Derrick allege she hasn’t properly distributed all of the estate’s assets and has been controlling it all on her own almost four years later. This includes money from movie residuals and royalties, his image and intellectual property rights, investments, insurance policies, bank accounts, and personal belongings, and the brothers have no idea what is happening with any of it! Not even the $3 million in assets in various bank accounts! Whoa!

Furthermore, they claim Taylor needs to transfer a long-term care insurance policy to their mom, close and distribute money from Chadwick’s bank accounts, account for SAG-AFTRA residual payments he earned after his death, and collect and distribute any unclaimed property belonging to him. Because of her actions so far, the parents are allegedly without funds and insurance they’re entitled to, can’t pursue any business opportunities for the Black Panther actor’s legacy, and experienced emotional distress while allowing Taylor to solely profit from her late husband’s name and image.

Kevin and Derrick requested the court to hold Taylor in contempt for failing to follow the court’s order and force her to distribute the remaining assets and hand over a full accounting of the estate within 30 days. Additionally, they want her removed as the administrator and appoint attorney Jason Rubin instead. Amid the case, the siblings also asked the court to block Taylor from signing any major contracts involving Chadwick’s estate without family approval, make her give copies of all contracts related to the estate, and require her to pay the family’s attorney’s fees and legal costs.

At this time, Taylor hasn’t reacted to the brothers’ filing. What are your thoughts on the unexpected family drama, Perezcious readers? Sound OFF in the comments (below).
