Singer-songwriter Gina Zollman just hit a career high note. She’s been nominated for Vocalist of the Year (Adult Contemporary) at the 2025 Josie Music Awards—one of indie music’s most prestigious honors—while simultaneously dropping her boldest album yet, Originals.

The 17-track record is raw, genre-bending, and unapologetically personal. Zollman blends adult contemporary, jazz-pop, and modern folk into a sound that’s entirely her own. Standouts like “Any Road You Choose,” “Heartbreak Highway,”“You,” and fan-favorite “Garden Grove, California” showcase the grit, wit, and emotional honesty that have become her signature.
“To be nominated in such a strong field—and at this stage in my journey—is honestly overwhelming in the best way,” says Zollman. “Originals is the most honest work I’ve ever done.”
From Stage to Spotlight
The nomination puts Zollman in the spotlight ahead of this fall’s Josie Music Awards, held at the legendary Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The nod is a milestone in a career built on reinvention and risk-taking, cementing her as an artist who knows how to evolve without losing her edge.

The album release pairs with Zollman’s acclaimed live show, ORIginaLS—a one-woman, cabaret-style performance that blurs the line between concert, memoir, and storytelling. Packed houses at The Gardenia in Hollywood and the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert have met the show with standing ovations, proving that Zollman is just as magnetic live as she is in the studio.
A Reinvention Story
Zollman’s path to music wasn’t traditional. A former corporate exec, she walked away from the boardroom to chase her creative instincts. Her journey is proof that it’s never too late to find your true voice—and use it.
