HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital Adds New Endocrine Surgery Facility


HCA Florida South Tampa Hospital in Tampa, Fla., announced a new $50 million endocrine surgery hospital in Tampa, according to an article in floridapolitics.com.

The Hospital for Endocrine Surgery houses 15 private inpatient rooms, eight operating rooms (ORs), and 33 individual surgery bays for pre- and post-surgery treatment.

Services include radiology, nuclear medicine, laboratory and pathology services, as well as radiofrequency ablation of thyroid tumors and minimally invasive scarless robotic thyroid surgery.
