Kylie Jenner Lands First Scripted Acting Role – All The Deets On Bachelorette Weekend HERE!

Kylie Jenner is officially trading reality TV drama for scripted streaming murder mystery drama!

The 29-year-old beauty mogul has just landed her first major scripted acting role, and this one is coming with a very juicy twist. Kylie is set to lead Hulu’s upcoming thriller drama series Bachelorette Weekend, with her big sis Kim Kardashian ready as the executive producer.

The series comes from an adaptation by author Lauren Oliver, whose credits include Panic, Before I Fall and the Delirium trilogy. It’s based on Flora Collins’ upcoming novel of the same name, with Oliver adapting the story for television through her company StoryGiants, according to Deadline on Monday.

And the premise? Well, talk about a wedding weekend gone horribly wrong! The bride, played by Kylie, ends up murdered in a pool, leaving her closest girlfriends as suspects. The series then pieces together the events that led to the shocking killing, with Kylie’s character serving as its “North Star.”

But how did Kylie get the gig? Kim reportedly received the script as a potential project through her first-look deal with 20th Television and “felt it was a great starring vehicle for Jenner,” and then passed it along to her sister. Both quickly came aboard, per Deadline.

Hulu has given Bachelorette Weekend a straight-to-series order, so this isn’t just some Hollywood maybe!

Kylie has previously appeared as versions of herself in The Moment and Ocean’s Eight, as you’ll no doubt recall. But this marks her first time taking on an actual fictional character.
