Jason Oppenheim has re-entered the chat.
As you know if you’ve been following along, Chrishell Stause got on Instagram this morning and announced her split from G Flip in a heartbreaking confessional style video.
Admitting she’s still very much in love with the 33-year-old Australian musician, 45-year-old Chrishell said they plan to go about this as peacefully and amicably as possible. Watch below:
In response, G Flip posted their own statement to social media, revealing:
“After 4+ years Chrishell and I are no long together. I will always love her, we will always share a special connection and I cherish our memories together deeply [red heart emoji] My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now and I’m not able to talk but I want to thank you all for your support and appreciate you respecting our privacy at this difficult time.”
Not long after news hit the trending sections, Chrishell’s ex-boyfriend and Selling Sunset star Jason, 49, left a comment of support on Chrishell’s video.
“I’m really sorry to hear this. I’m thinking of you and sending you my love. You’re both beautiful people and sometimes things just don’t work out, but it certainly doesn’t mean anyone failed. There’s probably nothing anyone can say to make you feel better right now, it might just take some time to process. But please know that you’re very loved and I’m always there for you no matter what.”
He ended the comment with a classic red heart emoji.

Jason and Chrishell dated for five months back in 2021, only breaking up because Jason wasn’t ready to try for kids as soon as she wanted to. Fans of their relationship naturally reacted to his comment with their own hopes, writing:
“slide back in”
“you guys need to be together”
“what a beautiful response, so loving”
“dude, FIGHT FOR HER”
“go get your girl!”
Well, we’re not sure Chrishell is in a place where she wants to start anything again, but at least she knows she has lots of support. And that’s what she’ll need as she starts the healing journey.
